It’s not everyday you receive a request to support a UNESCO United Nations Biosphere Reserve.  I live in Killarney, that Rome among villages and this one is close to home, the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve. The Group of Seven were environmentalists, to be recognized and asked to help, is a great tradition and honor  said Canadian landscape artist Pierre AJ Sabourin who follows in the Footsteps of the Group of Seven.

UNESCO environmental sites are in 117 countries with over 600 Biosphere reserves. I encourage artists worldwide to be inspired in nature and support the environment in their home countries through UNESCO Biosphere Reserves  said Sabourin.

I am pleased to report the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve raised over $121,000 during it’s recent fundraiser in Parry Sound, Ontario. Bravo
